Process Server Slough
So what is a Process Server Slough?
If you work with a Process Server they are able to distribute court documents (serve) to any person relating to a court case.
If somebody fails to pay child support, gets into personal bankruptcy by failing to pay bills, breaks their rental agreement unlawfully, or is otherwise instructed to attend court, a court date will be fixed and written documents issued. Such documents are required to be ‘served’ . Informing the defendant would be the responsibility of the individual (or organization) filing the notice. The law states that the individual will have to be notified of the proceedings against them personally, even in this age of technological innovation. But due to the legal requirements for serving a notice, not just anyone can supply them. That’s where a process server will come in.
A ‘Substituted Service’ might, in certain circumstances be presented in the event the Process Server has been not able to serve the notice. A ‘Substituted Service’ will mean that the Process Server presents the notice by posting in a letterbox, or affixing to a front door to ensure that it will come to the attention of any individual stepping into the home.
